I received an e-letter yesterday from my local MSP which included this lovely piece of I'm-All-Right-Jackery: "After a long battle with First Scotrail, I have persuaded the Managing Director to increase the capacity on the 17.52 from Edinburgh. If Scotrail are truly to persuade people to use public transport as their first option, then it must be an attractive option. As a regular commuter on this train, I know my constituents’ concerns were warranted. Now Scotrail have agreed to increase the seating capacity on the 17.52 from the present 140 to 189 from the new timetable change on 13 December."
So what about the other commuter trains to Fife, Jim?
